The entire staff was amazing and really made you feel like you are family visiting and not not just a a temporary hotel visitor. They all go out of their way to provide you with anything you want to do or see or provide equipment/gear for beach and water activities (really anything you need for vacationing in a place like this) Their service is 5 stars and better. Now the location is simply AMAZING. The beaches are all within 5 min walking distance but the very best beaches on the island are right there within feet of the property. Great shaded areas to relax out of the sun but still have amazing sea views. This place is a tropical paradise and I felt I was living in a postcard. Coral reefs pretty much right at your door step here. Loved the pool on the roof for a nice fresh cool dip after a day on the beach and the dining area felt like something out of a tropical setting movie. All excursions can be booked through the reception, just make sure you book the day before so they can set up the bookings. I just had the excursions added to my room bill, but I am sure if you wanted to pay as you go that is an option too. I love this place and I give it the highest rating one can give.

Best hotel in Ukulhas (local island) with decent beach with lots of nice palm trees. The house reef was very nice, lots of fish and other sea animals, also swam with several turtles and lots of reef sharks there. The chances of seeing turtles were slightly larger on the beach of the other side of the island (100mrs walk, 4 out of 5 times swimming with turtles, versus 2 out of six times snorkeling on this side) - but there are higher waves there, so whatever pleases you more. We did some excursions with the hotel, and they were great, both snorkeling at nice coral spots and snorkeling with Manta rays! We also did an excursion to a really nice resort (Constanze, 30mins by speed boat) for a few days, that was also really nice and very luxurious, but Ukulhas had the better reef for snorkeling. Food at breakfast was good, decent toast, very good Mas Huni (local breakfast out of tuna/chili/cocos), very good egg dishes, sausage and cheese - let it be, it's asia after all... The pool is cool and has a great view! Attention: I was on the island a few days before my family arrived, and thought I would just stay in a guesthouse, but the one I tried was not at all a good standard, even though it had good reviews. It seems some of the guesthouses are faking reviews, I even got explained by a guest house manager how this works... so I just switched over to Ranthari and started to enjoy my vacations!

Wonderful choice for families travelling with kids. Bikini beach is infront of the hotel. Food is great, all hotel staff are kind and most helpful, rooms are very comfortable. The hotel is managed very professionally and the management does their best to make you feel home. Any kind of leisure activities are reachable via reception. Definitely #1 choice in Ukulhas and we will for sure visit again. Heartful and big thanks to each hotel staff.

This hotel is absolutely the best accommodation in Ukhulas. However the prices are affordable for this range of hotel. First, the rooms are huge, more than clean, with a queen size bed, and a giant Smart TV, with Netflix, YouTube, etc. The bathroom is very large, with a big and comfortable Italian shower. Organic spa shampoo and body wash are complimentary. I had a room with a balcony on the ocean. It is just magical day as night. There is a wonderful rooftop, with a very nice swimming pool with direct view on the ocean. It is a super spot for sunrises and sunsets. The bikini beach is literally close to the building. What is also noticeable is the delicious food served. Everything is perfectly cooked from the breakfast to dinner. I rarely found such a quality of products, cooking and presentation. The prices are more than reasonable though. The staff is excessively kind and helpful. You are treated with regards but friendly. Special big up for Ingvar, the director’s hotel. Always smiling, he will give you all the best advices to have good time on the island. He will organize with pleasure activities that will leave you unforgettable memories. I recommend the manta rays safari, sandbank, and night fishing. We caught almost 20 kgs of fishes, that the chef kindly prepared for us! I should also say that this place is highly respectful of environment. Massages can be provided on demand, and a souvenir boutique is accessible in the lobby. There is no plastic bottles. Filtered water dispensers are available in every room, with hot and cold water. Reusable bottles and cups are provided anytime, for using on the beach. Of course big beach towels are supplied, and all the snorkeling equipment is placed at clients disposal. Excellent barista coffee capsules and tea are complimentary offered any time. Long story short, this place is a paradise in paradise. I will come back for sure. Thank you to all the staff for the quality of services that made my 9 days stay marvelous.

We were going to be in Ukulhaas for 10 days and needed to book a place. After much research we selected The Ranthari. We weren’t really sure what to expect since this was our first time on the island. From the moment we set foot on the island, we thanked our lucky stars for our choice. The Ranthari is an absolute gem of a hotel on this tiny island and given that we stayed there for 10 days and were able to see most of the other guesthouses in the area, we are pretty sure no other place comes even close. To start with, the hotel has a clean Scandinavian design with bright, airy rooms, very thoughtfully designed. The room service, amenities, restaurant, pool and spa facilities are all impeccable. The views from the rooftop are unmatched. The food menu was designed by a European chef and is way superior to any other dining options on the island. Above everything else, the hotel owner and staff are the most helpful, polite and courteous people we have ever met. They are always willing to go out of their way to treat all guests with utmost service quality. If you come to Ukulhas look no further than The Ranthari

We came here after having terrible experience on the other island .the owner was so friendly and accommodating.he offered a lovely room to us with a stunning ocean view.the staff was so friendly and helpful.the room was cleaned daily and coffee ,tea and water was available throughout the day.we had breakfast included in the price and it was lovely.lots of choices for everyone. There is a pool and a pool bar on the roof which is a nice addition.overall it was a great choice.thank you for having us

Lo mejor del hotel es la terraza con piscina que tiene en la azotea. Desde esta piscina hay vistas a la playa turística de Ukulhas y se ve la puesta de sol. El desayuno también está muy bien (el más variado de los que vimos en nuestra estancia en Maldivas). Además hay café y té disponible 24 horas. La habitación y el baño estaban muy limpios y la ducha tenía mampara, cosa que ningún otro alojamiento de los que estuvimos tenía.

Upea sijainti huikean hienon rannan äärellä. Meidän huone oli tilava ja valoisa ja upeat näkymät parvekkeelta 180 astetta (huone oli superior room 4 kerroksessa). Hotellissa oli kotoisa ja lämmin tunnelma, henkilökunta oli todella ystävällistä ja hotellin manager/omistaja Ingvar oli aina valmiina auttamaan ja pitämään huolta vieraistaan. Kattoterassi ja uima-allas siellä oli myös upea. Hinta-laatusuhde todella erinomainen.
